Christopher Gaffney: Agile and Lean Six Sigma Techniques for Requirements Elicitation

Tuesday, October 25, 2022 -

Requirements Elicitation is a key skillset for Business Analysts.  Lean Six Sigma provides additional tools you can use to complement your toolkit and help you focus on the Customer (Moments of Truth).
For this session, we will look at some Lean and Six Sigma techniques BAs may find valuable when defining and prioritizing requirements.  Best of all, they can be used in both Agile and Waterfall projects.
The Techniques may have different names … but the goals are the same!

KEY POINTS

•    Enhance BA value as proactive change agents through the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques
•    Help streamline business processes through process and value-add analysis techniques
•    Identify business requirements that delight the customer through the use of advanced tools such as KANO and Quality Functional Design (QFD)
