Too often, performance feedback that business analysts (and anyone working in a team) give and receive is not very effective. Teams that focus their feedback on specific behaviors and culture traits maximize value and minimize noise. This event presents one tool for teams and one tool for individuals to be efficient, impactful and pragmatic sharing feedback.
Attendees will benefit by having one rigorous tool to facilitate feedback for their team, one rigorous tool to facilitate feedback for themselves, and a practice session using the tools in a safe, group environment. Attendees will be positioned to make themselves and their colleagues more approachable and more coachable.
These tools are congruent with BABOK. They foster multi-directional, collaborative communication and promote shared efforts to resolve problems and achieve desired outcomes

Bio
Robert is a 30-year veteran of Project Management, Change Management, and the Performing Arts. His career path includes consulting and corporate roles, PMP and Agile certifications, and countless performances in vocal, dance and theater ensembles.
Today’s materials were mostly inspired by the culture at a past employer. Robert concluded that employee self-awareness was low and performance feedback tools were weak. Some colleagues were not coachable. Some were not even approachable. He felt he could craft tools to improve coachability and approachability for teams and for individuals. He presents these two tools to us today and will facilitate a practice session for us to feel more comfortable and confident to adopt these for our own purposes.
Robert earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and his MBA in Strategy and Analytical Consulting from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is the founder, president and solopreneur of “Innovation Elegance, LLC."
